This is the perfect recipe for this weekend's tailgates. Enjoy Mia's Tailgate Turkey Burgers Yield: 2 servings For Avocado Spread: 1 ea. Avocado ½ - 1 ea. Lemon juice 1 t Extra virgin olive oil Tt Salt Tt black pepper, fresh cracked Method: In a small bowl, mash all ingredients with a fork until creamy. Taste and adjust flavor with more lemon and/or salt. Reserve For burger: ½ # ground turkey (85/15) 1 ea. small zucchini, grated 1 ea. Garlic clove, minced ½ t Pimenton (smoked paprika) Tt salt 1-2 T butter, soft 2 ea. Martin’s potato buns 2 ea. Lg. Romaine lettuce leaves 2 ea. Thin Beefsteak tomato slices 1 C potato sticks Method: Combine the first 5 ingredients with your hands and form into 2 thin patties. On a pan with olive oil, over medium-high heat, cook both patties until golden on both sides (about 2 minutes per side). While burgers cook, toast buttered buns on a pan. On the bottom bun, place lettuce, tomato (season with salt), then patties, followed by a dollop of avocado spread, topped with a handful of potato sticks, then the top bun. Serve.
